I was upgraded to The Monicca Reception (MGM) part of the hotel. My room was beautiful and the balcony was out of this world as the view was breathtaking. There was complimentary coffee in reception and a coffee machine in the room with pods and my fridge had complimentary soft drinks and water. My room was cleaned everyday, and in the evenings a turn down service, they left chocolates on my bed each night and a weather report for the next day! The reception area is so classy, like a Dubai hotel. Maria on reception was very friendly and professional. Bruno helped carry all my suitcases to the top reception when I was leaving to get a taxi to the airport he was a very nice young man and very professional too. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such a magnificent view and would definitely recommend this part of hotel. I traveled alone but my friends were staying too in the main hotel so was a treat for them to come up to sit on the very large balcony. The breakfast was delicious with some much choice, was only 7 euros and buffet style eat all you want.

Upon arrival, we've got a room in block K - the farthest and the worst block of the hotel near the Strip. But after a couple of super-noisy nights in that uncomfortable room, we asked for a change and a nice girl at Guest Relations offered us a cozy and pleasant room in a "secret" part of block E. It's right near the wonderful Oura beach, in a very quiet corner of the hotel. And I have to say that this change saved our vacation because the service and the food left much to be desired - the cleaning was bad and was provided only once during our stay, the breakfasts were good but the lunches and dinners much worse. So, I would recommend the hotel if only you stay in that calm part of block E, have only breakfasts, cook dinners by yourself in the fully equipped kitchen (or go out to dinner in a restaurant nearby), and enjoy the awesome beach right 100 meters from your terrace.

Loved loved the location, really beautiful coast, scene the REAL seaview from the balcony. Nice hotel, bit of paradise. Great service, good english and helpful. Good price package, the staff helped our luggage up to our room and helped as in a highend hotel. Also got a complimentary bottle of Muthu wine. Loved the food, in all inclusive you can have even a cocktail list, all included, but the 12 restaurant was not open only 6 to choose, but still precious and delicious :)) The bed was so comfy, huge, loved it. But not for couples no double, just twins..

The gardens and communal areas are well laid-out and maintained to a high standard. The food choices were excellent, and quality of fresh food is easily the best in the Algarve. Our room came with a lovingly tame house cat, which was a pleasant surprise, and we were sad to leave her behind. The staff is what makes this hotel a really great experience.

This is my second stay here within this year. I love where the hotel is situated, right on the beach. The staff are amazing, very happy, helpful and a joy to have around. The breakfast is lovely, it has everything u would want. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. All in all a lovely experience.
